Welcome to Day 6 of the From Stress to Serenity with Gratitude and Generosity e-Course!

Toady, you are going to make a list of your 5 favourite activities. One of my favourite past times is to go for a walk in the woods behind our house. Take a couple of deep breaths and imagine you are with me on the path below. What do you see, feel, hear and smell?

Take a few deep breaths and copy the two quotes and the affirmation below onto your worksheet, then respond to the gratitude and generosity (call to action) prompt.

Today’s 2 Quotes

Gratitude Quote

“Gratitude makes sense of your past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.” – Melody Beattie

Generosity Quote

“I hope you will have a wonderful year, that you’ll dream dangerously and outrageously, that you’ll make something that didn’t exist before you made it, that you will be loved and that you will be liked, and that you will have people to love and to like in return. And, most importantly (because I think there should be more kindness and more wisdom in the world right now), that you will, when you need to be, be wise, and that you will always be kind.” – Neil Gaiman

Gratitude Prompt

Make a list of the 5 activities that you are most grateful that you can do: it could be drinking a cup of coffee, baking a cake, calling a friend, going to a flea market, visiting a museum, attending the theatre or seeing a movie…

Call to Action

Make time today for at least one activity that you particularly enjoy and if possible, invite a friend/friends to share the moment with you.

Daily Affirmation

Your gratitude practice ends today, and every day of this course, with an affirmation:

Happiness is my birthright. I embrace happiness as my setpoint state of being. I wake up in the morning feeling happy and enthusiastic about life. By allowing myself to be happy, I inspire others to be happy as well.

Well done! You have completed day 6 of this e-retreat.
