> back to the Women’s Divorce Retreat Description
Deposit
To secure your booking, a non-refundable 450 euros deposit is required. As this is a solo retreat, only a paid deposit will guarantee your attendance. If your dates are not available, you will be offered an alternative date. Your deposit is transferable to another person for the retreat you booked, subject to approval by your host.
Final Payment
The remaining balance is due 30 days before the retreat begins. Bookings made less th an30 days before the start date must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Please note: a lot of preparation (and not-inexpensive behind-the-scenes magic) goes into each retreat, so I can’t offer refunds of remaining balances. I highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unexpected changes—because life enjoys throwing in a surprise subplot.
Cancellation
Any cancellation made in writing less than 30 days before the retreat starts, or once the retreat has started, results in a total loss of funds. Depending on availability, you may transfer your booking to another retreat date within the same calendar year at no additional fee.
No refunds are given if a retreat guest arrives late or leaves early. And out of consideration for others on the waiting list (who would love your spot very much), please commit to attending the full retreat.
I reserve the right to determine whether you’re a good fit for this retreat—if not, your deposit is refunded in full (no hard feelings, just good boundaries). And I reserve the right to cancel the retreat for personal reasons—if I do, your deposit and/or full payment will be refunded in full.
This cancellation policy is firm; therefore, please do not make any travel arrangements until you receive your registration confirmation.
If you have questions or would like further assistance in registering for a retreat, please contact me at welcome2gascony@gmail.com for more information.
Please read the terms and conditions before booking. By making a booking you confirm that you accept these terms and conditions.

. It would make wonderful marketing if I could tell you that spending two days walking the Camino de Santiago will solve all your problems. Unfortunately, it won’t. - What Hundreds of CrossRoads Conversations Have Taught Me About Life
The CrossRoads Conversations blog post series explores what my guests have taught me over the last twenty-odd years. - Stop Asking “What Should I Do?” Start Asking “Why Should I Do It?
Whenever people find themselves at a crossroads, they almost always ask the same question. “What should I do?” Should I leave my job? Should I move house? Should I retire? Should I end the relationship? Should I start a business? Should I walk the Camino? They’re perfectly reasonable questions, and I’ve asked many of them …Continue reading “Stop Asking “What Should I Do?” Start Asking “Why Should I Do It?”
- Why Am I So Tired All The Time Even Though I’m Doing Nothing
The neuroscience of uncertainty, decision fatigue and emotional overload. One of the most common questions I hear from people struggling through a major life change is: “Why am I so tired all the time?” Not the sort of tired that disappears after a good night’s sleep. This is different. It’s the kind of exhaustion that …Continue reading “Why Am I So Tired All The Time Even Though I’m Doing Nothing”
- You Don’t Need a New Life. You Need a New Identity.
. Whenever someone tells me they’re going through a major life change, I notice something curious. They almost always begin by talking about what has happened. “I lost my job.” “My marriage ended.” “The children have left home.” “We’ve moved abroad.” “I’ve retired.” These are all significant events, of course. They deserve our attention. But …Continue reading “You Don’t Need a New Life. You Need a New Identity.”
